Dear colleagues:

 

I hope your semester has gotten off to a good start.  It is time again for us to recognize those juniors, seniors, and graduate students who are among our campus’ best scholars with an invitation to join the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society (http://www.alphachihonor.org).  Please find attached to this email a spreadsheet containing two tabs, one with undergraduate and the other with graduate students who are eligible.  I have sorted the sheet by major and campus so that you can more easily find the students in your programs.

 

Please do not share with any students listed that they are eligible at this time.  Students are only invited after they are vetted by faculty, which is the purpose of this message.

 

We wish to induct those who are of the highest character and produce the highest quality of scholarship into Alpha Chi.  If you should know of anyone on the list who you feel does NOT meets these qualifications, please notify me by direct email.  Do NOT "reply all" to this message!  



My goal is to send the invitations ASAP, so please submit any objections to me no later than 5 PM on Tuesday, Sept 27.  



Our annual induction ceremony will be held on Monday, November 14, at 6:00 pm in the TSC Ballrooms.  If you would like to attend to support any of your students, please let me know!
